If you do end up liking it, check out a Playseat Challenge or a wheel stand (I started with a GT Omega Apex and later bought the rear frame to upgrade to a full rig). If you're just looking to try it out or are unsure if you'll enjoy it, I recommend a Logitech G29 or Thrustmaster T150. I was pretty confident that I would enjoy sim racing, so I went with a more middle-tier setup. I personally have a Fanatec CSL Elite base with load cell brake pedals. I'm unfamiliar with AMD hardware, so I'm not sure what your system can handle. Back in the summer of 2019, I went to the Silverstone racetrack in the British countryside, where Mercedes-AMG had taken over the circuit to shuffle.

iRacing has a monthly sub & you have to buy all the content piecemeal, but it's all high-quality & has a strict competitive system (whereas AC is the Wild West). We Tried the Best Home Simulator Setup for iRacing’s Wildly Realistic Racing Software. Assetto is cheaper & accepts mods, so it's a great opportunity to try things out. My favorite sims are Assetto Corsa & iRacing. You're better off heading to /r/simracing for more replies than just mine.
